Three Great Christmas Baubles
Every year I buy three new baubles for our Christmas tree; one for me and one each for the boys. We put the tree up the first weekend in December every year and although I let the kids decorate the tree, I always end up 'tweaking' it when they are asleep!
You can check out my blown glass baubles here, but I really want to introduce you to three other local creatives who make the most extraordinary Christmas ornaments... welcome to Three Great!
Moonlighting
Marama makes miniatures in polymer clay, and every year she crafts a small collection of Christmas baubles. Marama doesn't take orders, so watch her Instagram feed and get in quick!
Blue Shed Ceramics
You all know how obsessed I am with ceramics, and I never miss an opportunity to promote other artists work. The Christmas ornaments by Kim at Blue Shed are beautiful in their simplicity. They are on our tree every year and I absolutely love them.
Felted Fellows
I bought a collection of these fantastic felted baubles a couple of years ago for my mum and I still covet them! These cute little birds are needle-felted by hand using techniques that go back hundreds of years.
