Three Great Ring Bowls

Three great ring bowls

Looking back, I can see that my obsession with craft was born in an idylic 80's childhood. My parents had a huge organic garden dotted with sheds and workshops, all filled to the brim with interesting projects. This week I've got three new craftspeople for you to admire; I wonder if their parents were as interesting and creative as mine?

Let me introduce you to three kiwi craftspeople who make the most beautiful little ring bowls... welcome to Three Great!

Blue Shed Ceramics

Kim crafts botanical ceramics using plants from her garden, I don't own any of her lovely ring bowls (yet) but have an ever-growing collection of her lovely Christmas ornaments just waiting to be hung.

Matthew Hall Glass

Matthew and I share many stockists in common, and although we both work in glass we have very different techniques. Matthew works in a traditional hot-shop, whereas I use a blowtorch and kiln to craft my glass.

Love Copper

Love Copper is a recent find for me, so I hope you like their work as much as I do. From the Bay of Plenty, they make incredibly interesting hammered copper bowls  and jewellery.
