This week, I’m sharing something extra special—my son Jacob’s latest work!
At 17, he’s already a talented silversmith, and he spent his summer holidays creating a collection of jewellery using stones he’s fossicked himself.
Some were found in Australia, others on the wild shores of Orepuki (Gemstone Beach in Southland), and some are beautifully repurposed from second-hand treasures he’s discovered in op-shops. Every piece has a story, shaped by his hands and set in sterling silver.
I couldn’t be more proud — take a look at his collection here:Never the Twain.
