These lovely Kina Hoops are coloured with powdered glass before being shaped and formed on the blowtorch.
Once cool, the glass is coldworked and popped into my tumbler with a handful of black sand from Piha Beach to give that lovely sea-glass look.
Because my earrings are handmade, the size of the Kina's in these earrings varies from 12-15mm in diameter, and they are hung on 20mm sterling silver hoops.
