I make my glass link pendant from two different types of glass and hang them on an 18-inch silver ball-chain necklace.
The clear circle is made from borosilicate glass, which is usually used in scientific glassblowing, and the coloured circle is carefully constructed from intensely coloured soda-lime glass. The two pieces are linked together on the blowtorch before being cooled overnight in the kiln.
